angkor wat, a unesco site with over a thousand years of history. a revered site by countless visitors from all around the world. once a thriving city center now in ruins. the  banyan trees and overgrown strangler figs - a mysterious force of nature - not to be reckoned with. the powerful roots stem from the earth and rise into the heavens. anything in their waking path is swallowed up out of existence. the sleepy atmosphere made by locals at temple grounds puts your mind at ease.
