there'll be waterfalls, i recall trying my best to sway him into coming with me. somehow i convinced him to join me  during the middle of july where the average temp is 116. so we set off - ill equipped mind you - camera, charcoal, can of beans, couple gallons of water. you know why they call it death valley right? that summer, a hiker died after getting lost. this wasn't for the faint of heart. we pressed on. finally arriving in badwater basin, the highlight of our trip, the lowest point in north america. outside it was so hot physically there was no way to perspire. but after getting into the car and blasting the ac, we both sweated profusely. we never found those so called waterfalls
